PRIVACY & DATA
Your play. Your records.
Who we are
Deep Stack Poker is operated by [to be confirmed] (“we”). Contact: [to be confirmed]; see the contact page.
What this service is
A poker practice site. Play uses practice chips only. There is no real-money wagering and there are no prizes.
What we collect
Account. Your email address, a display name, and either a password (stored only as a hash) or the identifier Google gives us when you choose “Continue with Google”. We request only your Google email and basic profile.
Practice data. The hands you play or import, your notes, decision reviews, study and journal records and community posts, so that you can review them and we can show your progress. Imported hand histories may contain other players’ screen names as written in the file you uploaded.
Usage counters. How many practice hands your account (and, before sign-in, your guest cookie) has started, to apply the Free plan’s 100-hand allowance.
Billing. If you subscribe, Stripe processes your payment. We store only Stripe’s customer and subscription identifiers and the subscription status. We never see or store your card number.
Technical. Standard server logs (request path, status, timing, a request id and a hashed account reference) kept for [to be confirmed] for security and reliability. Logs never contain hand data, notes, tokens or email addresses. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics.
Cookies
A session cookie when you sign in; a signed guest cookie so your five guest hands can be counted before you create an account; display preferences stored in your browser. No advertising cookies.
How we use data
To run the service, apply plan limits, show your own history and progress, process subscriptions, send transactional email (verification, password reset, billing and account notices) and keep the service secure. We do not sell personal data and do not use your hands to train third-party AI models. The optional coaching assistant is turned off; if we enable a connected model later, this page will say so first and you will be told before any of your hand text is sent to a provider.
Who processes data for us
Render (hosting and database, United States), Stripe (payments), Google (sign-in, only if you use it) and Resend (email delivery). Each receives only what its job needs.
Retention
Free accounts keep the latest 100 detailed hand replays; older detailed replays expire while summary statistics and notes remain. Pro keeps up to 25,000. Accounts have a storage budget of 50,000 records and 256 MiB. Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Server logs: [to be confirmed]. Database backups: [to be confirmed], then overwritten; restores are only ever made to a separate recovery database, never to bring back a deleted account.
Your choices
Export your data as JSON and delete your account from the Account page; both ask you to confirm your password (or to have signed in within the last ten minutes). Deletion removes your profile, hands, notes, study and journal records, community votes, guest links and sessions, cancels any Pro subscription immediately, and anonymises your community posts (they stay on the board under the name “former member”). Billing records required by law are retained in Stripe. Table data stored in your browser is yours to clear from the table’s device-data controls.
Children
The service is for adults ([to be confirmed]+). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We will post changes here with a date. Material changes will be announced in the product.
